1.    Do I need to purchase any materials in order to take a course?

Answer:    No.  All materials needed will be provided by the instructor.  The materials will be sent by e-mail.

2.    What happens after I register for a course?  How long does it take to get started?

Answer:    Once you complete your registration you will receive a receipt by e-mail (PayPal).  This is your registration confirmation.  Once we receive your payment confirmation (your check, if sent to us), we will contact the instructor to get you started.  Please allow 3 business days for your instructor to contact you to get started.  The instructor will be contacting you at the e-mail address that was included with the payment.  

Note:  If you use Paypal, make sure you send us your contact e-mail address if it is different from your Paypal account address.

3.    What if I need to take a few weeks off from the course because of a previous commitment?

Answer:   If you know of a conflict in your schedule, please let the instructor know ahead of time so that they can plan accordingly. For classes that are not taught one-on-one, there is the chance we cannot accommodate scheduling changes. Please feel free to contact us with any scheduling concerns you may have.

4.    I would like to contact the instructor to ask them a question before I register for the course.  Can I get their contact information?

Answer:    All questions prior to your registration must come through this link.  We will make sure that all of your questions are answered.

5.    If I start a course and it isn't what I thought it would be, can I get a refund?

Answer:    If you would like to end a course with a refund, you must do so prior to completing the 2nd lesson.  If you go past the 2nd lesson, all refunds will be at the discretion of the instructor and Absolute Write. Refunds are made within 30 days of receipt of your cancellation.

6.    Who is AbsoluteClasses.com?

Answer:    AbsoluteClasses.com is wholly owned by MacAllister Stone, the owner of Absolute Write.  Absolute Write has been providing services and information to writers for over 7 years.

7.    Are there references available from past students?

Answer:    Yes, many of our course descriptions include references.  If you would like additional references, please let us know and we would be happy to send them to you.
