George Sheldon
George Sheldon has been writing and publishing
since he was 14 years old, and as he says now, "that was a really long time
ago." Now a lot older and grayer, George has published 14 books.
He has published over 1,000 articles in such magazines as Byte, Small World,
Farm Journal, The Writer's Market, PC World, Profiles, Cappers Weekly,
Pennsylvania Game News, and Country Music Times. He has served as a
newspaper correspondent for more than five years, and was a contract syndicated
writer. He self-syndicates travel articles, and often writes about
history, Americana, food, and any other topic that interests him.
George has spoken at writer's conferences, monthly meetings and workshops, held
classes for local colleges and libraries, and provided writing instruction for
corporations throughout the U.S. He has been interviewed on a number of
talk radio shows. He cofounded the largest writer's organization in
central Pennsylvania.

Testimonials:
"I know as a first time online student, I
was really doubtful about taking this course. I have not regretted it for a
moment. It was worth every penny and more. I would love to share that with other
potential students." -- Denise Mallas, Iowa
"I enjoyed your course and gained more knowledge from it than any other I
have taken. It was worth it. The assignments and your feedback were extremely
helpful. On top of that, I feel much more focused and motivated. Thank
you." -- Sue Gupta, British Columbia
"The appeal of this course was the very specific focus you describe on
getting into the business of nonfiction freelance writing. It seems to me
that, although I have books and articles to my credit, I am greatly in need of
some structure. At this point in this course, I can honestly say I see
benefits, changes in how I think about the work of freelancing, and a sense of
excitement!" -- Mary Donavon, NY
"I can see my writing becoming tighter, and having more impact. - I am
really appreciating everything in the class, truly I am, because I do intend to
be a writer so all of this information is being tucked away for that day when I
can do my writings. - You are giving me polish on my work to make it make the
grade - I am grateful for this opportunity and the great way you give out the
information." -- Roz Kujovsky, PA
"I have enjoyed the class immensely. It
is also the best dollar value for any class I have ever taken." --
Ruth Ann Boltz , Pennsylvania
